I have been studying with Joe for over a year. He really quickly identified some problems I was having, and helped me move past my barriers. Everything was on theme, and related to my work and interests. I really like that we don't just repeat some phrases from a book like some teachers. In the beginning I was really lacking in grammar. Now we focus more on speaking and writing, as those are my weak areas. I probably started with level of A2, and now I am confidently B2.

I started studying with Joe when I was still in University, and I was almost embarrassed about my level of English. I am a programmer, so English is really important for me. We actually started with a mixed lesson plan with some lessons with Joe, and some lessons with a native speaker of my language. This was a really useful plan. When my English improved, I started to have lessons only with Joe. I would say my level now is high B1, maybe even B2. I am so happy with my progress. I want to sincerely give my thanks to Joe for helping me improve my level of English. I found him when I was preparing to move to a new country for work. I am an Engineer, and I work for an American company, so I only wanted an American teacher. Joe doesn't dissappoint. He is helpful, smart, and overall a really good guy. I have now been working in my new job for almost 6 months, and I have almost no problems in understanding. I really think that without Joe, my start in a new country would have been much harder.
